gsalr Alternative: Garage Sales With the Items Already Spotted
Updated October 20, 2026
The short answer
gsalr lets you search garage, yard and estate sales by keyword and see them on a map. It is part of the Treasure Listings network, which also runs GarageSaleFinder, YardSaleSearch and EstateSales.org, so the same sales appear across those sites.
Spotted adds a step after finding the sale: it names what is in the photos and shows what similar items sell for on eBay. Details about gsalr here are from its website and App Store listing as of October 20, 2026. As of October 20, 2026, Spotted listed about 6,900 estate, garage and yard sales starting within three weeks, from multiple sources; about 3,300 had items identified from their photos, and close to 4,000 of those items had eBay comparisons.

Where gsalr is the better fit
Keyword search. If you are hunting one specific thing and the seller wrote it in the listing, gsalr’s search finds it directly.
Where Spotted is the better fit
Sales whose listings say little. Many listings just say "lots of stuff". Spotted reads the photos instead, so items show up even when the seller did not write them down.
