Early markdown wave
A few stores have reached 75% off. That can be the start of a wave that reaches other stores over the next few weeks, but most items stall at a tier and never complete the cycle.
How accurate is this? Our model has no drop signal for this item right now. It isn’t reliable yet: of the 8,701 “likely” calls we’ve checked since Aug 21, 2026, 7% saw a further price drop within about two weeks. Treat this as a read on where the item is in Home Depot’s markdown cycle, not a promise.

Home Depot clearance usually steps down from about 10–25% off (2–3 weeks) to 40–50% off (3–7 days), 60–65% off (3–4 days), 75% off (about 3 days) and finally 85%+ off. When an item does go from 50% to 75% off, it takes a median of 11 days, but only about 1 in 5 items make that jump. Repricing happens mostly Thursday to Saturday, and stores in California, Florida and Georgia tend to get each markdown a week or more before the Midwest and mountain states.
